on behalf of the Clinical Cooperation Unit Nuclear Medicine of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), it is my honour to invite you to the PET-CT Symposium in oncology: quo vadis in Heidelberg, Germany.
The event will be a hybrid (both in-person and virtual) meeting from 5 to 6 November 2021.
Nuclear medicine and in particular molecular imaging continues to grow within the last years. In this context, the recent development of a new generation of PET-CT scanners with an extended field of view is a milestone towards faster scanning, better resolution, lower radiation exposure and improved sensitivity and image resolution. In this symposium renowned speakers will present recent results with the new generation PET-CT scanners, new imaging protocols, new fields of clinical applications including novel radiopharmaceuticals and other interesting aspects of hybrid molecular imaging for tumor diagnosis and therapy monitoring in oncological patients.
